A Note About End-of-Year Giving

Thank you for a successful For217 start of the year! We are working our way through several deferred maintenance projects. Please continue to pray with guided prayer points on our FOR217 page.

As you pray regarding your end of year giving, here are some details to consider:

  • For your 2024 tax return:
    • A mailed check needs to be post marked by December 31st.
    • A hand delivered check should be in the church giving box by Sunday, December 29th. The office is closed Dec 30th and 31st.
    • Online giving through Subsplash will need to be dated December 31, 2024, or earlier.
  • You can save taxes by donating appreciated property such as stocks and grain.
  • Will you turn 72 by April 1, 2025? Talk with your IRA trustee, you could qualify to send your Required Minimum Distribution directly to Hope Church. This may not only reduce your tax liability but could also reduce your Medicare premiums.
  • Do you have stocks or cryptocurrencies that have increased in value? Consider donating them directly to Hope Church, you won’t be required to pay tax on the capital gains.
  • We have multiple ways to give: Mission boxes on-site, mail a check, through crypto, or on our website and app.
  • To save time, consider setting up recurring giving. You can set it up several ways: via the church app or website, complete an ACH authorization and turn in to the church office, or set it up with your bank’s automated payment system.

Thank you for being on Mission! Your faithfulness allows us to help others, "Follow Christ Together For New Life.” Also, keep an eye on your emails at the end of January, we will be emailing 2024  giving statements.
