Position Title:   Video Editor
 
Classification:
Part-Time / 25 hours per week
 
Summary of position:  Reporting to the Worship & Arts Lead Team Pastor, the Video Editor serves in both technical and creative roles of developing, filming and editing content for our weekend services, social media, and digital platforms.

Education Requirements:  2 years of Video Editing experience

Position Requirements:  
  • A committed Christian with a calling to help lead others in their walk with Christ through the visual arts.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.  
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and streaming software programs (OBS).
  • Excellent filming, directing, and video editing skills with the ability to integrate graphic design.
  • Comfortable with various aspects of camera, lighting, and sound direction.
  • Experience running a studio and/or willingness to learn.
  • Agrees with and is willing to support our church and team values.
  • Flexibility in schedule; this position requires occasional weekend and evening hours to acquire footage of special events.
  • Willingness to learn.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Film, Direct, Edit, Upload and Deliver digital footage.
  • Support ministry teams with social media video requests.
  • Attend weekly Communication team meetings.
  • Create and execute message series bumpers.
  • Produce weekly weekend service countdown videos.
  • Run streaming as needed for live events and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
